ASSET Education attended the Partnerships for Cultural Education South East Networking Event at The Royal Opera House, London. This fantastic event brought together people passionate and enthusiastic about arts and culture and the benefits they bring to our communities.
The event was inspirational and solidified just how important it is to keep the arts alive, especially for young people. As a result of this wonderful event, a representative from Dance East attended the latest ISMA meeting. Cultural capital will now be a central strand of the ISMA action plan, and ISMA will join up with Local Cultural Education Partnership leaders so both organisations can work together to create more opportunities for our young people in the cultural sector.
